Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, unleashed a scathing critique of the billionaire, accusing him of allegedly using sex-selective in vitro fertilization (IVF) to choose the gender of his children.

The 20-year-old took to Threads on Monday to claim that her assigned sex at birth was a direct result of a financial decision rather than a natural occurrence. She argued that being born male and later transitioning was seen as a deviation from the expectation Musk had purchased.

She emphasized her point by repeating that masculinity had been a “monetary transaction” rather than an inherent identity.

Wilson Questions the Legality of Sex-Selective IVF

In a follow-up post, Wilson questioned how the alleged practice was even legal. She did not provide further details on her claims, but her remarks quickly gained traction online.

Musk has not publicly responded to the accusations, and representatives for the Tesla CEO have not issued a statement.

Wilson, formerly known as Xavier Musk, legally changed her name in June 2022 to reflect her gender identity and sever ties with her father. In the court filing, she stated that she no longer wished to be associated with him in any capacity.

Musk later claimed in a 2024 interview that he was misled into approving Wilson’s medical transition. He alleged that during the COVID-19 pandemic, he was told that failing to support the transition could result in his child committing suicide.

Musk Calls Daughter ‘Dead,’ Wilson Fires Back

Musk has been vocal about his strained relationship with Wilson, often attributing it to what he calls the “woke-mind virus.” In a controversial interview, he claimed he had lost his child and compared the concept of deadnaming to actual death, stating that “Xavier is dead.”

Wilson, however, did not remain silent. She mocked Musk’s claim by stating that she looked “pretty good for a dead bitch.” She also asserted that she was the one who disowned Musk, not the other way around.

Wilson further accused the billionaire of being a “serial adulterer” who continually lies about his own children. Musk, who shares 14 kids with four women, has previously faced scrutiny over his family dynamics and personal relationships.

While the rift between Musk and Wilson has been public for years, her latest accusations have reignited controversy surrounding the tech mogul’s parenting and ethical decisions.
