Tracy Morgan experienced a medical emergency Monday night while attending the New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat game at Madison Square Garden. The 56-year-old comedian was seen vomiting courtside, prompting immediate attention from those around him.
A photo posted on X showed Morgan hunched over in his seat as a concerned friend stood by his side. A separate video captured him wiping his face with a white towel while medics escorted him out of the arena in a wheelchair.
Eyewitnesses reported that Morgan appeared unsteady, with one onlooker claiming he was bleeding from his nose and barely able to stand. His condition caused a brief delay in the third quarter, halting the game for nearly 10 minutes.
Eyewitnesses Express Concern Over Morgan’s Condition
Fans at the game were left shocked by the incident, as Morgan, a lifelong Knicks supporter, frequently attends their games.
A spokesperson for Madison Square Garden released a statement, saying they hoped Morgan was feeling better and looked forward to seeing him courtside again soon.
Knicks player Josh Hart also sent his well-wishes after the team’s 116-95 victory, saying Morgan is a passionate Knicks fan, and they were all hoping for his health and safety.
Representatives for Morgan have not yet commented on his condition or the cause of the incident.
Morgan’s History of Health Struggles
The “30 Rock” alum has faced serious health challenges in the past. In 2010, he underwent a kidney transplant due to complications from diabetes. Four years later, he survived a near-fatal crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, which left him in a coma for eight days.
More recently, Morgan spoke about his experience taking the diabetes drug Ozempic to manage his weight. He previously joked that it significantly curbed his appetite, saying he only eats “half a bag of Doritos” now.
While it remains unclear whether his latest health scare is related to his past conditions, fans are hoping for a speedy recovery.
