Andy Cohen has finally addressed Tamra Judge’s abrupt departure from The Real Housewives of Orange County, hinting that her exit may be linked to personal struggles. Judge, 57, announced her departure from the Bravo reality series during a cast trip to New Orleans, leaving fans in shock. Cohen, 56, spoke about the situation on his Radio Andyshow, offering some insight without revealing too much.
“I got the report of what happened last night,” Cohen said. “All I will say is this—I can’t comment on what’s going on while we’re filming shows.”
While he remained tight-lipped, Cohen suggested that Judge’s close friend, Teddi Mellencamp, is facing an intense health crisis, which could have influenced her decision. Mellencamp, 43, is battling skin cancer that has spread to her brain and lungs.
Teddi Mellencamp’s Health Battle Adds to the Drama
Mellencamp, known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, recently stepped away from her Two Ts in a Pod podcast due to her worsening health. Last month, she underwent emergency brain surgery to remove tumors that had been growing for at least six months.
“For the last several weeks, I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches,” she shared. “Yesterday, the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain.”
The surgery removed more tumors than expected, but doctors later discovered additional tumors in her brain and lungs. Mellencamp continues to undergo treatment, including radiation and immunotherapy, in hopes of stopping the cancer’s progression.
Tamra Judge Bids Farewell to ‘RHOC’
Following the news of Mellencamp’s condition, Judge took to Instagram late Sunday to announce her departure.
“It was a long run! When life gives you real problems, this reality stuff doesn’t make sense. Peace out, I’m out,” she wrote in an Instagram Story.
A fan account quickly picked up on her post, questioning if she was officially leaving. Judge confirmed the speculation with a direct response: “Yes!!!”
Judge has been a key figure on RHOC, known for her unfiltered opinions and fiery personality. Her sudden exit has sparked discussions among fans, with many wondering if personal struggles and the emotional toll of Mellencamp’s health battle led her to step away.
Cohen’s cryptic statement adds more mystery to the situation. With RHOC still in production, the full details behind Judge’s departure remain unknown. However, one thing is clear—real-life challenges have taken precedence over reality TV drama.
