Display analyst Ross Young has disclosed details on Samsung’s devices. Both the company’s first tri-fold smartphone and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 are reported to feature an identical 6.49-inch cover screen. The tri-fold design utilizes a separate cover display and main screen, with extremely limited production anticipated later this year.
Ross Young, a renowned expert in display technology, has spilled the beans on the dimensions of Samsung’s first tri-fold smartphone and the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Something intriguing has happened. The front displays of those two smartphones will be identical in size.
Each of them will have a cover display that is 6.49 inches in size, and the details may also be the same. Aside from the fact that their sizes are identical, Android Headlines do not currently have any information regarding that particular aspect.
In case you were wondering, the answer is yes; the first tri-fold that the business will produce will include two displays. Unlike Huawei, it will take a unique tack. When folded, the Huawei Mate XT’s single screen becomes usable in part.
The first tri-fold phone from Samsung will include a 6.49-inch cover display that can be detached and used as a secondary display when the phone is unfolded. It appears as though Samsung is making an effort to ensure that the main display is completely protected when the device is folded.
While we don’t yet know the exact dimensions, we can assume that the primary screen will be around 10 inches (9.96 inches, to be precise). In contrast to Huawei’s tri-fold foldable, Samsung’s will bend in a G-shape rather than the Z-shape that Huawei used.
So, when exactly is the release date for Samsung’s first tri-fold smartphone? According to the most recent reports, it is expected to be launched sometime this year. If not released simultaneously, it may release at least close to the same window as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. They will be released in the third quarter of this year.
With the exception of the display specifications already given, we do not yet have any information regarding the phone’s specifications. Rumor has it that the gadget may go by the name Galaxy G Fold, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Please be informed that there will be a limited supply of this tri-fold phone. It has been reported that the device would not exceed 300,000 units manufactured by the firm.
