Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson reunited at the “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary special’s afterparty on Sunday night. The event, held at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, marked the first time the former couple had been seen together since their breakup over two years ago.
A Friendly Catch-Up
Page Six confirmed that the “Kardashians” star and the former “SNL” comedian had a conversation at the star-studded gathering. However, sources close to Davidson clarified that their interaction was strictly platonic. “He has nothing but love and respect for Kim,” they stated, emphasizing that both parties are on good terms and wish to move forward amicably.
Their Night Apart
Before the afterparty, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson both attended Chris Rock’s 60th birthday party at the Crane Club but did not interact much as Davidson left soon after Kardashian arrived. At the SNL celebration, Kardashian mingled with other celebrities like Alec Baldwin and Dave Chappelle, while Davidson did not appear in photos with her.
SNL Performances
During the anniversary special, Kim Kardashian showcased her comedic side by joining Kristen Wiig in a skit, while Pete Davidson participated in multiple sketches, including a “New York Musical” tribute and reprising his character Chad. Their presence at the event was significant as it was on “SNL” that their romance initially sparked when Kardashian hosted in 2021.
Moving On
Since their split in August 2022, Kim Kardashian has been linked with a real estate investor, keeping her new relationship out of the public eye. Meanwhile, Pete Davidson has had several high-profile relationships but appears to be single at the moment. Despite their past, Davidson humorously commented on his love life’s publicity, attributing it to his looks rather than any actual drama.
