Celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, known for styling A-list stars, including Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez, reportedly suffered from an unexplained illness for months before his sudden passing. The 34-year-old experienced alarming weight loss and persistent symptoms before being hospitalized in Los Angeles, where he died on Feb. 22.

Months of Declining Health

Sources revealed that Guerrero had been feeling sick since September 2024. He reportedly lost 20 pounds and complained of hot flashes and chills but continued working abroad. He traveled to England, Ireland, and the United Arab Emirates despite his declining health.

In the days leading up to his death, Guerrero was in the UAE working with Lopez. Upon returning to the U.S., his condition worsened, and he was taken to a Los Angeles hospital on Feb. 21. He passed away the following day.

Family members and close friends remain stunned by his sudden decline. His sister, Gris Guerrero, shared on a GoFundMe page that his passing was unexpected, adding that they were struggling to understand what led to his deteriorating health.

Mystery Surrounding Cause of Death

Guerrero had no history of drug or alcohol use, according to sources. An autopsy has been completed, but toxicology results are still pending. His sister expressed frustration over the unanswered questions, stating that despite tracking his movements, they still don’t know what caused his illness.

Gris said Guerrero’s team urged him to seek medical attention. He even consulted doctors while in Dubai but was determined to return home. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, his roommate forced him to visit a doctor, but it was already too late.

Hollywood stars, including Jenner and Lopez, paid emotional tributes to Guerrero. Jenner, who considered Guerrero family, offered to cover his funeral expenses. Lopez provided support to Guerrero’s family and ensured he received medical attention while in the UAE.

The sudden death of the beloved hairstylist has left many heartbroken. Family and friends continue to seek answers about the mysterious illness that took his life far too soon.
