Kevin Costner is proving that age is just a number. At 70, the two-time Oscar winner remains one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors, drawing admiration from stars like Jennifer Lopez, Sharon Stone, and Kristin Cavallari.
Despite the growing buzz around his love life, sources close to Costner say he isn’t getting caught up in the attention. The actor, who finalized his divorce from Christine Baumgartner last year, is focused on his family, career, and personal happiness.
“Kevin is flattered by the admiration, but he isn’t taking it too seriously,” an insider shared.
Cavallari, 38, recently called Costner her “forever crush,” while Lopez and Stone have both been spotted enjoying his company. Meanwhile, TV host Hoda Kotb has publicly agreed that Costner is still the ultimate leading man.
Costner Moves Forward After Divorce
Costner’s high-profile split from Baumgartner was one of Hollywood’s most talked-about breakups. While the process was difficult, those close to him say he has no regrets.
“It was tough at the beginning, but Kevin believes the divorce was the best decision for both him and Christine,” the insider revealed.
Now, Costner and Baumgartner are co-parenting their three children—Cayden, 17, Hayes, 16, and Grace, 14. The actor, known for keeping his private life out of the spotlight, prioritizes time with his kids and enjoys life at his Santa Barbara home and Aspen ranch.
His social circle remains tight, consisting mostly of longtime friends who aren’t in the entertainment industry.
“Kevin prefers life outside of the spotlight,” the source added.
A Career That’s Still Going Strong
Costner’s professional life is as busy as ever. His highly anticipated film Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2 is set for release soon, and he’s starring in a new reality series, Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner.
Reflecting on his career, Costner recalled a defining moment when he turned down a massive paycheck for The Hunt for Red October to direct and star in Dances With Wolves. His risk paid off, earning him two Academy Awards.
“I made a promise to myself to do this movie,” he said. “That’s the message I want my kids to understand—that I do what I believe in.”
Open to Love, But Not in a Rush
While Costner is enjoying life as a bachelor, he hasn’t ruled out romance.
“People are supposed to be together. I’m sure that could happen for me,” he shared.
For now, though, he’s focused on what matters most—his family, his passion projects, and making the most of every moment.
