Kanye West’s latest controversial outbursts have sparked concern among insiders who claim his alleged use of laughing gas is fueling his erratic behavior. Sources say the rapper, 47, has been inhaling nitrous oxide, leading to his most recent string of disturbing comments, including his open admiration for Adolf Hitler and antisemitic threats.
Medical experts warn that nitrous oxide, also known as “laughing gas,” can cause brain damage, memory loss, and even increase the risk of dementia.
Kanye West’s Alleged Drug Use Raises Red Flags
A source close to West claims he has been using nitrous oxide to escape reality. The insider revealed that after inhaling the gas, he becomes uninhibited, saying and doing things without any filter. At times, he reportedly does not even remember what he has said afterward.
Although West allegedly quit using nitrous oxide last August, sources claim he resumed the habit in January. Since then, he has been embroiled in multiple controversies, from promoting swastika-emblazoned T-shirts to making alarming threats toward Jewish communities.
Florida-based Dr. Gabe Mirkin, who has not treated West, explained that nitrous oxide can be mentally addictive. He warned that prolonged use could lead to brain cell destruction and increase the likelihood of developing dementia.
Bianca Censori’s Grammys Stunt Reportedly Influenced by West’s Behavior
West’s erratic influence is also believed to have played a role in his wife Bianca Censori’s recent Grammys stunt. The 30-year-old walked the red carpet in a sheer dress with no underwear, a move insiders suspect was orchestrated while West was under the influence.
One source close to the rapper claimed he has returned to his old self-destructive patterns. They added that his memory has been noticeably deteriorating, with West struggling to recall the names of people he has known for years.
This troubling behavior has reignited fears that West could suffer another severe mental health crisis. In 2016, he was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold at UCLA Medical Center following a psychotic episode. At the time, he attributed his breakdown to exhaustion.
Now, those close to him worry that history could repeat itself.
“You hope for the best but fear the worst with Kanye,” a source shared. “The gas has him heading for near-certain disaster.”
