Jana Kramer is getting brutally honest about a decision she once made to try to save her marriage—one she now deeply regrets. The country singer and actress, 41, recently revealed on her Whine Down podcast that she underwent breast augmentation in an attempt to keep her ex-husband, former NFL player Mike Caussin, faithful.
“I was in a marriage where my husband was cheating all the time,” Kramer admitted. “I would see the women he was cheating with and thought, I look nothing like them.”
Believing that a change in her appearance might keep Caussin interested, she decided to get breast implants. However, her efforts to fix their troubled relationship ultimately failed, and the couple divorced in 2021.

Kramer, now happily married to Scottish soccer star Allan Russell, acknowledges that she would not make the same choice again. Looking back, she recognizes that self-worth cannot be defined by someone else’s actions.
“It’s taken Jana a long time to realize she should be enough for a man,” an insider revealed. “If she were to do it all over again, she probably wouldn’t have gone through with the surgery.”
Despite their painful breakup, Kramer and Caussin have worked toward a more amicable relationship for the sake of their two children. In 2022, the former football player even appeared on her podcast, admitting to his sex addiction and apologizing for the way he treated her.
Considering Removing the Implants
Now, as a mother of three and in a secure relationship with Russell, Kramer is contemplating reversing the procedure. The One Tree Hill alum shared that she has been seriously thinking about removing her implants and that her husband supports whatever decision she makes.
“She’s finally in a place where she realizes she doesn’t have to change herself for a man,” the insider added. “This is about what makes her feel comfortable in her own body.”
