Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly realized that their lives may be better if spent apart after claims that the Suits alum’s team is shopping a tell-all about her life after divorce made rounds online. As of this writing, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still lawfully wed.

An unnamed source claimed Meghan has made it clear that if she and Prince Harry split, she would demand a hefty settlement and keep her royal title. The source added that she instructed her lawyers to seek a financial arrangement to rival Sarah Ferguson’s when she divorced Prince Andrew in 1996.

“She won’t go anywhere—unless it’s with a title, property, and a huge sack of money. Meghan will make a deal to protect herself,” the insider told the National Enquirer. However, it was noted that the rumored proposal does not signify that Meghan and Prince Harry are done, but it was meant to test the waters of interest.

Despite this, the shocking divorce book reports are still “distressing” for Prince Harry.

Meghan and Prince Harry have appeared to be living separate lives for months. The son of King Charles focuses on humanitarian work, while the former Deal or No Deal briefcase model manages her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

“They are closely watched every step they make—criticized and chastised and insulted—the pressures have become unbearable,” the informant went on.

Prince Harry is allegedly miserable with his treatment by imperious Meghan and the public perception that she has all the authority in their marriage. Moles even suggested that the milquetoast rep might have prompted the Duke of Sussex to leave Meghan at their Montecito mansion last fall while he undertook a three-week business trip to New York, London and Africa.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle face renewed divorce rumors as reports of a book deal emerge.

Even after Prince Harry returned to their love nest in California, he and Meghan were not seen together until January. They were finally snapped side by side in Pasadena in December, giving supplies to wildfire survivors and greeting first responders.

Unfortunately, the Sussex pair were met with backlash when riled residents branded them “disaster tourists” and claimed the effort was a self-serving stunt. “Meghan took it the hardest. The fact that people would accuse her of using others’ misfortune for publicity just generated move publicity—of the worst kind,” a tattler stated.

Another naysayer claimed that “guilt-ridden” Prince Harry is also planning to return to the U.K. as his father, King Charles, battles cancer. “Harry knows he can’t do that with Meghan on his arm—and that’s becoming more and more okay with him every day,” it furthered.
