Elon Musk has expanded his growing family once again, confirming the birth of his 14th child. However, his estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, quickly responded with a pointed social media post that seemingly shaded the billionaire.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO recently welcomed a new baby with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, making this their fourth child together. Zilis announced the news online, revealing their son, Seldon Lycurgus. Musk later confirmed the birth with a simple heart emoji.
Vivian Wilson Takes a Swipe at Her Father
While Musk’s supporters congratulated him, his 21-year-old daughter, Vivian, had a very different reaction. The transgender activist, who legally changed her name and severed ties with her father in 2022, appeared to mock the news on social media.
In a TikTok post, Vivian referenced how she learned about Musk’s expanding family in an unconventional way. She jokingly noted that she had now discovered half-siblings through Reddit twice, calling the experience “weird.”
Shortly after, she updated her video with another quip, sarcastically correcting herself by saying she had actually found out through Threads this time. The viral post fueled speculation about the continued tension between Musk and his daughter.
Musk’s Growing Family
Musk’s complicated family tree includes six children from his first marriage to author Justine Wilson. The couple shares twins Griffin and Vivian, both 21, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, who are 19.
He later welcomed three children with singer Grimes: X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus. In addition, Musk secretly fathered twins Strider and Azure with Zilis in 2021 before the couple welcomed their latest additions, Arcadia and Seldon, in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
Despite the ongoing family drama, Zilis shared a heartfelt post about her newborn son, calling him “a juggernaut with a heart of gold.” Musk simply responded with a heart emoji, leaving much of the public to speculate on the state of his fractured relationship with Vivian.
While Musk has largely remained silent on his daughter’s pointed social media posts, her recent viral TikTok suggests that their estrangement continues. With each new addition to Musk’s family, the distance between the billionaire and his oldest daughter seems to grow even wider.
