Actress Blake Lively has expanded her legal claims against “It Ends With Us” co-star and director Justin Baldoni, alleging that she was not the only woman made uncomfortable by his behavior on set. In an amended complaint filed in New York federal court, Lively’s lawyers contend that other women have corroborated her experiences.
Lively, known for her role in “Gossip Girl,” initially filed a lawsuit against Baldoni in December 2024, alleging sexual harassment. The new documents reveal that Lively is “one of” several women Baldoni allegedly made feel uneasy during the production of their August 2024 film. The complaint states that Baldoni acknowledged complaints about his behavior in writing.
The court filing does not name the other women involved but mentions their willingness to testify and provide evidence during the discovery process. Concerns about cyberbullying and retaliation were cited as reasons for not disclosing their identities publicly.
Lively’s amended complaint included text messages where she expressed distress over Baldoni’s conduct, describing him and his partner as “creeps” in one communication. These messages were shared with a Sony employee shortly after the incidents, with another female cast member reportedly raising similar concerns days later.
Additionally, Lively has introduced a defamation claim in her revised lawsuit, pointing to Baldoni’s responses to the initial allegations. Baldoni, in turn, has taken legal action against the New York Times for its coverage of Lively’s claims and has also filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, further intensifying their public and legal feud.
The ongoing legal battle has not slowed down public appearances; Baldoni was recently spotted in Hawaii with his family, while Lively and Reynolds attended the “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary, where Reynolds humorously addressed the drama. An insider noted that their appearance at the event was “not a good look” given the current legal tensions.
As this case unfolds, it continues to shed light on workplace conduct in Hollywood, with potential implications for how sets manage and respond to allegations of harassment. Both parties have yet to comment extensively on the latest developments, but the situation remains under close scrutiny from both legal and public spheres.
