Brock Pierce, a former child actor turned cryptocurrency mogul, has stepped forward with an offer to help Wendy Williams as she struggles with health issues and a controversial court-ordered guardianship.
Pierce, 44, is offering the former daytime TV host a stay at one of his luxury mansions, complete with around-the-clock medical care. The gesture comes after Williams, 60, made headlines this week when she allegedly threw a handwritten note out of her New York assisted living facility window, pleading for help.
A Safe Haven With Full Medical Support
The former Mighty Ducks star, who has built a fortune in cryptocurrency, expressed his admiration for Williams and his desire to provide her with a peaceful retreat.
“I’ve always admired Wendy’s strength, and when I saw her asking for help, I couldn’t ignore it,” Pierce said in a statement. “My offer is simple: a place where she can find peace, receive proper care, and begin healing.”
Pierce, who has been a guest on Williams’ radio show in the past, emphasized that she deserves kindness and support. He believes his private estate, equipped with hospital-level care, could be the secure environment she needs to focus on her recovery away from public scrutiny.
Williams’ Guardianship Battle and Public Concern
Williams has been living in a memory care facility while fighting to end her court-ordered guardianship, which she has likened to being in “prison.” The legal arrangement has controlled her financial and personal affairs since 2022, following concerns about her mental health.
Her latest plea for help led to an evaluation at Lenox Hill Hospital, where doctors reportedly confirmed that her mental capacity was intact despite previous diagnoses of aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.
Her court-appointed guardian’s attorney, however, has disputed claims about her living conditions, calling media reports “untrue, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.”
Unclear Where Williams Will Go Next
Pierce has not specified which of his properties he is offering, but he owns real estate in Puerto Rico, Washington, D.C., Amsterdam, and New York City. In 2021, he completed a $500,000 renovation on a 10,000-square-foot Beltway loft he purchased from NBA star Dwight Howard. He has also transformed a historic Portuguese ocean liner into a luxury residence.
A press release about Pierce’s offer stated that his goal is to help Williams regain her freedom and focus on her well-being without outside pressures.
So far, there has been no response from Williams or her representatives regarding the offer.
As concern for the beloved TV personality continues to grow, her fans and supporters hope she will find the care and stability she needs—whether through Pierce’s offer or another avenue.
