Now that Ben Affleck has officially divorced Jennifer Lopez, whom he re-wooed nearly two decades after they first split, and is back on the market, the Batman actor reportedly feels wistful for another ex-ladylove, Ana de Armas.

For starters, Ben met Ana on the Deep Water set, and the pair spent the first year of the pandemic cocooned together.

“Ben was going through some serious stuff when they dated, and he feels bad the relationship ended. If given the chance, he’d try again,” an unnamed source told Star Magazine.

Ana, for her part, has already moved on with Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuba’s dictatorship-linked president, and ditched Los Angeles for rural Vermont. However, not all of that deters Jennifer Garner’s ex-husband.

“Ben sees her current relationship as something that won’t last. He’s a big believer in second chances. He was holding back from dating out of respect for Jennifer, but if he gets another opportunity to be with Ana, he’s going to take it,” the anonymous insider shared.

Today’s Esquire could not independently verify the claims that Ben plans to pursue Ana following his divorce from J.Lo. So, take these speculations lightly.

Meanwhile, a legal document indicated that Ben and J.Lo will share the profit from their Beverly Hills estate when it sells. The ex-lovers listed the mansion publicly for sale in July 2024 for $68 million. The property remains on the market nearly six months later.

Reports said Ben and Jennifer would divide the house’s final sale price between them. However, the exact amounts and percentages they will receive remain confidential.

The 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home in California was publicly listed on July 11 after Ben and Jennifer initially tried to sell it off-market in June, a common technique high-profile sellers use to protect their privacy. The pair bought the 38,000-square-foot estate for $60 million in May 2023, less than a year after officially marrying.

The five-acre property offers luxury amenities such as a separate guest penthouse, a garage that can accommodate 12 cars, a gym, a boxing ring, and an indoor sports complex with pickleball and basketball courts.

It was confirmed in May 2024 that Ben and Jennifer were living separately. The Gone Girl actor moved his things out of the shared mansion the following month while the “Let’s Get Loud” hitmaker was on a Euro trip.

Ben purchased a new home for $20 million in Brentwood in July, which is closer to where two of his children—Samuel and Seraphina—live with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Violet, their eldest, is presently attending college at Yale.
