Jessie Cave, known for playing Ron Weasley’s love interest in the Harry Potter franchise, has surprised fans by announcing her new venture—launching an OnlyFans page. However, unlike many creators on the platform, the actress insists she will not be posting explicit content. Instead, she is catering to a niche audience with a focus on her long hair.

The 37-year-old actress, comedian, and writer revealed her OnlyFans launch on social media, emphasizing that while she won’t be sharing adult content, she might appear in lingerie.

Catering to a Niche Audience

Cave promoted her new venture with a post stating she is a “Long Hair Specialist” and offers unique content for those who have an interest in hair. She reassured followers that her page would not feature explicit material but invited fans to send specific requests related to hair-themed content.

“Owl drop near daily. Wizard warning: Will not do explicit sexual content,” Cave wrote on her OnlyFans profile. “Might be in my underwear.”

The actress, who has four children with comedian Alfie Brown, later discussed her decision on their podcast. She explained that she had received numerous comments about her hair on social media and saw an opportunity to monetize that attention.

“It’s never kind of dirty comments, but I do get lots of interest in the hair thing,” she said. “I just thought, why not do something very niche?”

Inspired by Other Celebrities

Cave mentioned she was inspired by British singer Lily Allen, who has admitted to making more money selling feet pictures than from her music career. She explained that her goal was to use OnlyFans as a way to finance her writing projects while doing something that she finds fun.

She described the move as “empowering” and a way of breaking free from the rigid image she had built over the years.

“I have been this very straight, prim actress for most of my career,” Cave said. “This is a way of saying, ‘Okay, I’m doing something different, something that’s a little weird, a little kinky, and why not?’”

Mixed Reactions From Fans and Partner

While some fans supported her decision, others expressed shock, especially considering her wholesome reputation. Cave’s partner, Alfie Brown, voiced skepticism on their podcast, asking whether she was prepared for public reactions.

“Are you prepared for the idea that people may find this quite an extraordinary thing to be doing?” he asked.

Cave remained firm, stating that she was at a crossroads in her career and wanted to pursue something enjoyable.

“I want something to change with my career,” she said. “I want to do things that are fun and not serious.”

As Cave ventures into the world of OnlyFans, it remains to be seen how her unique approach will be received in the long run.
