Kylie Jenner, 27, made a touching move at the 2025 Oscars on March 2, switching seats so Timothée Chalamet’s mom, Nicole Flender, could sit beside him during his Best Actor loss to Adrien Brody.
Sources tell Page Six that Chalamet, 29, didn’t ask for the switch but found it “sweet and thoughtful” as Jenner slid behind him before the announcement.
Chalamet, nominated for “A Complete Unknown,” lost to Brody’s “The Brutalist” win, missing a chance to be the youngest Best Actor recipient—a record Brody set in 2003 at 29.
Jenner consoled her boyfriend with a kiss and embrace, caught on camera. An insider says she’s proud of him despite the defeat, following his SAG Award win last month.
Family First, Love Strong
Jenner started the night next to Chalamet, then shifted to let Flender take her spot. Transitioning to support mode, she stayed close, cheering his effort. The couple, dating since 2023, skipped a red-carpet debut—Chalamet in yellow Givenchy, Jenner in custom Miu Miu. They later hit the Vanity Fair party, her in lace, him in Tom Ford.
Awards Season Partners
Jenner joined Chalamet at the Golden Globes and BAFTAs, though not the SAG Awards, where he celebrated solo. Her Oscars gesture underscores their bond, balancing his loss with her pride—and a nod to family over fame.
